Michael Ching's Home Page


Starting in Fall 2008, I will be an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia.

Research

I study algebraic topology, in particular things to do with Goodwillie's calculus of homotopy functors and operads.

I did my PhD at MIT, working with Haynes Miller. My thesis was on Bar constructions for topological operads and the Goodwillie derivatives of the identity.
