I am applying for jobs this year. My research statement is available upon request.
Teaching Fall 2009: Math 108 Calculus 1 (Eng).
Teaching Spring 2010: Math 402 Advanced Algebra II.
Along with Rekha Santhanam I am organizing an Informal Seminar.

Synopsis of Research:

There is a reasonable framework of topology where spaces are replaced by certain types of categories (triangulated, DG, simplicial and so on). This passage is not entirely smooth and reversible but in favourable conditions it is. I am interested in reinterpreting some known results and investigating some open questions in topology by recasting them in this framework. Eventually, the hope is to incorporate finer structures of geometry as well. I got sidetracked a little and, nowadays, I am thinking about Galois extensions over F1 and S1.
