The Final will be given Tuesday, Dec 14, from 9am-12noon in Krieger 304. A familiar venue.
A rough idea of the content of the exam is 20% from Chapter 2, and the rest from Chapters 3 and 4 (as covered in the course).
You are required to know the proof of the equivalence of the property that an ideal A in a commutative ring R is prime with the property that the quotient ring R/A has no zero divisors.
Beyond that, you are asked to know everything else. :-)
