Trip to Kansas with Saul, 6/16/09 to 6/23/09

The main Web Site for the Kansas trip. I've made those small enough to fit on most screens but have kept the big ones here.

We flew to Denver, rented a car and drove I-70 through Strasborg and Limon, staying the first night in Burlington, Colorado, stopping at little museums along the way.

Next day we drove through Goodland, Colby, Oakley, saw Monument Rocks, then Ellis, and stayed in Hays, Kansas.

Next day we went to LaCrosse where I graduated from high school (only lived there 2 years), back to Hays, then to Victoria, Russell, and Luray Kansas where we saw my great grandparents home and had dinner with 12 second cousins! Then back to Hays for the night.

Next day we went to Damar, Nicademus, Hill City, Norton (grandfather's grave), Oberlin and finally St. Francis, where I grew up. We had our first 45th reunion party that night.

Next day was a St. Francis day, including more parties and reunion. Sunday we had yet another party and then did some serious sight seeing of Cheyenne County.

Last full day even more sight seeing, including Bonnie Dam. Next day, drive to Denver and fly home.

There are some special web sites.

One here for the cousins.

One here for Cherrie and James. It has places we lived, etc, in it.

One here for the reunion folks.

Almost all photos were taken by Saul. He doesn't get it about how to take photos of a party.
