Japan photos by Charles W. Wilson, M.D.

These are photos taken by my dad on a May 1999 trip to visit Kyoto, Japan, (where I was on leave at the time) with his fancy fancy digital camera. The camera has a 14 power lens and a "steadyshot" attachment which allows you to actually use the 14 power lens without it getting fuzzy even if you shake all over the place yourself (that's really neat). The numbers are the floppy disk numbers. All of the photos and all of the labelling were done by my dad, Charles W. Wilson. I just added the tags to turn it into an html document. I have also made some value judgements for those who don't want to look at all of the photos. This is a 2 star system with 2 stars (**) indicating photos which, in my opinion, you should not miss, and 1 star (*) being photos which are representative of something important or in some other way stand out above the others. My Father passed away May 12, 2002, in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was 85.
